Haven't watched a good movie in forever, until this morning. Sweet haul at the grocery store today (loads of papaya and sprouts!!). Jam in the park tonight
Abby Grind. Can't wait to get my hands on a bike. Going swimming tonight. All things lead to something, and nothing leads to... nothing.
Life is too short to surround yourself with negative people. Good vibes all around, all day, everyday.
Pb of 1:10, exciting stuff. Running my 2nd 5k on August 23rd, pumped. Jas is a babe ;)
You are what you eat.
Catfe, the first cat cafe opening in Vancouver. Well, guess I won't have to travel to Japan now! I feel fine as a whistle. After getting back from Alberta, I have been just filled with energy and happiness. Matt bought a car the other day, and I had just helped him a bit with replacements, which is superb since I can put my automotive skills to the test. My summer is just plainly awesome so far and is just going uphill from today. Hopefully tonight goes fairly well (I'm going to attempt to teach Maysah how to swim). Thanks Bailey for letting us (as in Jessica and I) use your coconut oil, my skin appreciates it greatly. Technology is amazing. My connection turned sour and deleted my entire summary of my day. Jeez, okay, well, to make it even shorter I will just say that Moraine Lake was spectacularly pristine, which led to canoeing through the kool-aid water for an hour (give or take), and freezing my poor legs off because I'm insane (best people are). Shortly after we did the Rockpile hike to the very top to the Twenty Dollar view (old bill) passing by adorable chipmunks eating the flowers. A hungry family later, we ended up at the Old Spaghetti Factory (SPAGHETTI), not knowing it would start raining, hailing, and thundering after. But hey, we still went straight to the Upper Hot Springs which was closed (because of two previous evacuations) but we made it timely there that it had just reopened. A misty nice evening lead to a large amount of teenagers coming out of nowhere, which was hilarious because it became very crowded, very quickly. And cued us to leave. Fantastic and brilliant experience. Please don't make me redo another paragraph. Highly recommend to rent a canoe here. Ice cold glacier-fed lake.
It seems like I always wake up to seeing Tim Hortons after setting off for the road. Bagels are my friends, oh and orange juice. I got to get that sugar straight to the brain. My family and I pretty much spent the day at the Calgary Zoo, which was surprisingly massive! Well I'm off now, peace. What's wrong with taking pictures of flowers? Flowers are great.
Drumheller, home of the "Royal" Tyrrell Museum. Pretty much an actual version of "Dino Town", and looks like the set of Jurassic Park. Liquor and persimmon haul down Marlborough (Real Canadian Liquorstore, funny).
2nd Chuckwagon death at the Stampede today. Poor horses (and animals!). Our family took a drive down to Radium Hot Springs, the largest hot pool in Canada. On the way through the mountain overpass we came across a family of mountain goats just hanging out at the side of the highway. A quick dinner down in Banff @ Balkans was delicious (Greek food). The weather turned rainy for the worst, but surprisingly still warm out which was a plus. The breezy temperature enabled us to shop around and visit the bridges overlooking the waters lined with trails at the sides. Tons of active fires back home are still on the news. I hope everyone is alright.
Don't flick your cigarette out the window.
